DES MOINES-April 1, 2014—The Iowa Brewers Guild announces the fourth annual Iowa Craft Brew Festival, which will be held on Saturday, June 14, from 1-5 p.m. on the Court Avenue Bridge in downtown Des Moines.
“We’ve been pleased with the public response to the Iowa Craft Brew Festival,” said IBG Guild President Dave Coy. “The Iowa beer scene has matured remarkably in recent years, and we are looking forward to another successful festival.”
More than 30 Iowa breweries, along with a host of regional and national craft breweries, will be featured at this year’s event, which will serve as the finale to the inaugural Des Moines Beer Week (June 8-14). Participating breweries will be pouring unlimited beer samples of over 200 beers, including a variety of special brews exclusive to the Iowa Craft Brew Festival.
“After several years of volunteer labor and close work with sponsors and other beer-loving allies to get this event off the ground, it’s truly icing on the cake that the Festival has become the climax of Des Moines Beer Week,” said Coy.
VIP pass holders gain early access to the festival to avoid crowds from 1-2 p.m. VIP passes are limited in number and won’t be on sale on the day of the event. Order tickets early to ensure this opportunity to enjoy shorter lines and more intimate contact with the brewers. General admission ticket holders can enter the festival grounds at 2 p.m. Designated driver tickets are available for $5.

Bonus Fun
An ICBF Warm-Up Party will take place at Confluence Brewing Company on Friday, June 13, at 8 p.m. The Warm-Up Party will be attended by a number of the festival’s participating brewers, and the public is invited to join in the revelry.
