Announcing The Stoup Brewing Yard Party!

SEATTLE – Stoup Brewing is excited to announce their largest event of the summer: a yard party! On Saturday August 26th they are taking over the yard adjacent to the beer garden and setting up a main stage for music.

“Taking over this area for the day will effectively quadruple our outdoor space,” said Lara Zahaba, one of Stoup’s Co-Owners. “And one more bar in the yard means we will have 4 places for customers to easily grab a beer.”

Live music will kick off at 2pm with BRAWNS,  a funk/rock/jazz influenced quartet that features Cam Hancock from Stoup Brewing. SILVER TREASON is bringing a little bit of country and a little bit of Rock-n-Roll from their hometown Spokane. Local beer legend Larry Rock’s band, PLANET FLY will get funky at 6pm and GOLDEN IDOLS are headlining at 8pm with a promise to ‘make you dance, and laugh, and have the best time ever in the history of anything.’

Seattle Children’s Museum will also be on site with activities for the whole family. “This is not a drop-off area,” cautions Zahaba, “but parents will be able to enjoy a beer while helping their little ones with a fun project.”

And if you are wondering what to eat, they have you covered. Wicked Good Grinders will be in front of the garage door from 1-8pm with Nutty Squirrel Gelato from  2-6pm. Raney Bro’s BBQ will be in the yard near the stage from 2-9pm and Beez Neez Sausages join from 3-7pm.

Guests should arrive via the main entrance where adults will be carded and given a wrist band for easy identification at any of the four bars. Beer will be available in the main tap room, outside in the beer garden, Upstairs (our 21+, pet free zone) and by the stage in the extended yard. This 4th bar will be a cash bar though tokens good for one pint may also be purchased inside with a credit card.
