In honor of Jean Claude Van Damme, the Muscles from Brussels, the Barrel of Monks Brewery will be filled with specialty beers, kickass food pairings, movie spotlights, photo ops, hero moments and more. Jean Claude Van Damme is an international action film icon. The Belgium-born star has showcased his patented splits and acrobatic kicks in such movies as Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Street Fighter, Lionheart, The Expendables and many more. Born on October 18, 1960, in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Belgium, he became a champion martial artist and bodybuilder, going on to use his beautifully gifted physical abilities to become the star of American action flicks, kicking up the kick-o-meter and retaining his stardom through the 80s, 90s and 2000s.
