Vermont Beer Week, a statewide beer industry event celebrating the craft beer scene in Vermont, is proud to announce a return for its second year, September 16th to the 25th. In its inaugural year, Vermont Beer Week donated 50% of their proceeds to the Vermont Foodbank, which equated to providing over 4,000 meals to Vermonters in need.
Led by returning sponsors Farrell Distributing, Bluebird BBQ and Jolley Convenience Stores, Vermont Beer Week organizers are once again looking to donate 50% of all proceeds to a statewide non-profit in 2016.
Things are looking bigger and better in September for Vermont Beer Week. After having promoted more than seventy events from Burlington to Brattleboro, organizers hope to add to that number this year and also add to another social feat. On the craft beer social app Uptappd, the 2015 Vermont Beer Week badge was unlocked over 5,000 times.
Should you wish to host an event, which is posted and promoted for free by Vermont Beer Week, or would like to sponsor year two, contact VTBW@vermontbeerweek.com or call 802-922-8407.
Vermont Beer Week takes place starting Friday, September 16 and runs through Sunday, September 25th. Events will take place all over Vermont. Check out a full listing still to come at www.vermontbeerweek.com.
