GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Beer City Festivals, known for events with hard to find craft beers, and patrons hobnobbing with microbrewery owners & brewers, is teaming up with Fermenta for downtown Grand Rapid’s first ALL MICHIGAN tasting event. Michigan’s finest beers, ciders, wines, and spirits are eagerly waiting for you to pair them with award winning food at this themed tasting event. Tickets go on sale today.

Saturday, October 17, from 4-8 PM at Calder Plaza, sample from over a hundred beers you will never see at a local store. Tickets are only available online at beercityfestivals.com, beginning September 8th at 12pm. General Admission is $39, and VIP is $49, which gets you five additional drink tickets, and one hour early admission. Use code “Calder” to receive 25% off.  Code is good September 8th only!

“This isn’t a beer tent posing as a craft beer festival” said Joe Boyer, event organizer ” We have the best brewers in the country right here in West Michigan, putting the effort into making a great festival experience, just makes sense”. Live music, games, a costume contest, and a free photo booth are there to appease the boredom of meeting new friends, and assaulting your taste buds with gracefully crafted, bold flavor beverages.

Every year, Beer City Festivals partners with a non-profit organization; this year’s non-profit partner is Fermenta. Fermenta is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit initiated by Michigan women who are committed to diversity, camaraderie, networking, and education within the craft beverage industry. Communications Director, Manda Geiger commented, “Fermenta is extremely excited for this opportunity to be a part of a Michigan festival. This is a great way to show support for the community and help raise funds to support our scholarship fund.”
